Sign #1, There are Several Loose Shingles

When shingles start showing either one of these signs it usually means they have reached the end of their life. It may be necessary for a new roof installation. When shingles start to lose granules they have reached an age where they are no longer as effective as they use to be and must be replaced. They will continue to lose more granules as they get older.

If nails are popping out of place on your roof the holes and spaces around the nails become susceptible to water penetration that can lead to leaks in the roof. This can result in a lot of moisture damage.
